Sanje mangabey

Key identification features
A large, slender monkey with long legs and tail. Fur grey-brown with light orange underparts. Has a double fringe of fur on its forehead. HB 65 cm. Tail 65 cm. Wt 7-8 kg.
Habitat and social behaviour
Travels in groups of 10-20 individuals. Found only in dense montane forests in the Udzungwa mountains.
Similar species
Yellow baboons are mostly terrestrial and have a characteristic kink in the tail.
